When to visit Natal: weather month by month
Natal has sunshine and warm water all year round. What changes from month to month is the rain, the wind and the high-season crowds.

Tides for the natural pools
The natural pools of Maracajaú and Pipa show up at any low tide, which happens twice a day. At the lowest tides they get shallower and clearer, and the ones that matter for a day trip are those in daylight.
According to the Brazilian Navy tide table for 2026, days with a low tide of 0.2 m or less between 7 am and 3 pm are concentrated from March to October, around the new moon. Each month's count is in the cards above.
