Touros
The Calcanhar Lighthouse, cliffs and the Zero Mile marker of the BR-101 highway on one of the best-preserved stretches of the North Coast.

Touros is known as the "corner of Brazil": it's where the coastline changes direction on the map. Besides being home to the Calcanhar Lighthouse, one of the tallest in the country, it's one of the best-preserved towns on the North Coast, with beaches and cliffs still outside the busiest tourist circuit.
Things to do in Touros
A visit to Touros revolves around two very different landmarks: the Calcanhar Lighthouse, open to visitors on Sundays, and the Zero Mile marker of the BR-101, designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Perobas Beach and its reefs complete the trip.
